The Academics are right on target. In fact, the most thorough surveys of world opinion are quite clear in their reduced respect for the US since the Bush Administration has initiated unilateral policies around the globe. I, for one, am embarrassed to be an American given what is now being perpetrated in the name of this once great country. Unfortunately, it goes far beyond Bush to his father who followed "the end justifies the means" with his use of drug money to fund the Contra revolution and other wars and terrorist mobilizations since...
