Interestingly the percentage of Muslims will actually remain quite low in the United States if the trend-line continues. In my own country of Canada though, Muslims are expected to reach about 10% by 2041, perhaps that will accelerate even further with the current Liberal government receiving about 80% of the votes from that religious community so it has a vested interest in increasing those numbers.

It will be interesting to see what impact this has on Canadian life, in Europe it has been mainly negative for countries where the Islamic population gets above 5% or so and extremely negative past 10%. Canada has been somewhat more elective in selecting immigrants but with the refugee crisis this could change.
