in the same spirit I have some comments regarding your response:

you mentioned that Khalif Omar committed crimes like the crusades, which is not true at all. as a matter of fact the people of Greater Syria aided the muslims to free them from the Romans. When Omar went to Jerusalem to be given the keys of the city after it surrendered, he signed the popular Umari Treaty which gave Christians and Jews full freedom in practicing their religions, and even be protected .
Note that the name Umar (or written sometimes Omar) is a common name for muslims and christians to honor the Khalif Umar.

Also there is no need to refer you to sources that show clearly that Umar and Salah addin were admired even by christian knights. thus again your claims that " Omars order for mass murder when he invaded syria" is nothing but untrue claim.

So again the early muslim history is clean of any mass murders to apologize for. As a matter of fact the muslim conquests were to free the oppressed nations under the Romans and Persians. that explains the fast expansion of Islam, and that the Romans and Persians could not withstand, because their local people revolted on them. Even in Spain and the Ghal land (France), the locals, tired of the classing system that puts 98% of the people as third class, revolted on their 'nobles'.

I said before clearly what Jihad means, and is not and will never be equivalant to the 'holy war' meaning of the crusades.

If you are going to give me examples of muslim kings and leaders who have been cruel on their people, I can give you hundreds of Christian leaders who have committed massacres, Hitler for example, who killed millions of people, was actually being a devouted christian, wasn't he putting a cross on his flag?

I assume you believe in the Bilble wether old or new testemant, but I do not believe in it, I believe in another bible that no more exists, so do me a favor and wish that the beliefs of Armageddon and antichrist be reconsidered sometime to not put innocent people as potential enemies. like the beliefs that say 'the earth is flat' were reconsidered and updated.
By the way Allah is not a muslim term, it is the Arabic name for god, and is used by the Arab Jews and Christians.

"there are points that have been raised and ignored but i have not sought to resurrect this issue."
