Reader comment on item: How Many Muslims in the United States?
in response to reader comment: rain drops and moonpie

Submitted by Mohammed (United States), Mar 28, 2008 at 02:49

apparently you misunderstood, you seem to be questioning here the existence of god, which I will not reply to you in this manner, you can go to any church or any mosque to tell you about god.

If your reasoning is how Islam has a belief that god has all the might and power to block the rain whenever he wants or "moonpie", then that makes your reasoning false from the beginning because it is in the wrong place, as Christians and Jews believe in the same thing, not only Muslims, and so you posted your funny comments in the wrong website.

It is noteworthy to tell you here, that I not only believe in what i mentioned above, but also that god created the whole universe in 7 days, it is more interesting to know that not only me believes so, but also Christians, Jews. I hope that clarifies the idea for you, next time go to a church or a mosque and they will be happy to tell you about god.

As I have said before, you cannot generalize on the whole from the act of individuals, because then we could generalize on Chrsitianity as a religion of hatred and killing, was not Hitler putting a cross on his flag? wasnt he actually a devoted Christian? what about the popes during the hundreds of years of the middle ages? were not they given the right to speak in the name of god when they started the crusade wars? so do all these allow us to say that Chrsitianity is a religion of hatredsand crimes?
