Islam - Why is it still a protected religious group?

Reader comment on item: How Many Muslims in the United States?

Submitted by Jim (United States), Sep 8, 2010 at 01:56

After all that we know about Islam, shouldn't it be a banded religious practice here in the USA? The Koran states"death to infidels", that it's ok to lie, if it promotes Islam, that honor killing is justified. After all it protects the honor of the men. That their men can beat and abuse their wives, daughters and sisters, without reprocusion. Didn't our federal marshalls raid the Waco compound of David Korresh for things less offensive than these and raid many other religious groups, again for less aggregious acts than these. Ok, my spelling isn't the best, but you get the point, or should. Over the last 20-25yrs or so, 75-80% of the violence and death of individuals and groups around the world has been caused by Islamist groups. Bombings of airliners, embassies, trains, buses, marine barricks and other bombings were carried out by this "peace loving"group. The attrocities in Darfur and many, many other places are a direct attempt by this group to force Islam on others. Now they are attempting to forced it on us by using our own Constitution and Bill of Rights against us to insure that Islam triumps. Wake up America before it is too late!! I am not a violent person, but I will defend against this group's efforts to make this one of their conquered lands! I think it is time to put this group on the band list and consider their leaders as enemies of the state. The muslim people in general are good people who for the most part want to live a normal peaceful life. So, my objections are not directed to them. It is directed toward their leaders and other rigid dogmatic zealot men.
