Who are we to decide?

Reader comment on item: Solving the "Palestinian Problem"

Submitted by RT (United States), Jan 19, 2009 at 00:23

There is a simpler approach. We don't we ask the Palestinians what they want for themselves? They are humans beings also. They even come with ambitions, needs, families, and livelihoods. You can't just play GOD and dictate a whole populations fate for them. This whole notion is inconsiderate of the Palestinians themselves and harkens back to the days of colonialism. No matter how you look at it Palestine and Israel are intertwined both sharing the same history on the same speck of land. Israel has an obligation to the palestinian people. Back to the Future? There is always the 1948 UN Partition Plan. let's not be so short sided.
