carrot and stick

Reader comment on item: Solving the "Palestinian Problem"

Premise: The Land of Israel belongs to the Jews and can not be shared.

Land is not the reason for the conflict . The Jews is the problem that the Arabs have. . Jews have tried to live in peace with Arabs for the last century. The Arabs will not have it

According to polls taken in Arab universities in Gaza and Samaria , about half the Arabs would like to leave if they could.. Instead of the billions spent on expelling Jews from their homes and the billions spent on defence against Arabs (walls, by pass roads etc..) , spend the money on compensation to Arabs willing to leave and never come back. Even a small percent accepting at first will trigger raised interest in the offer by others.

If there was good will all around this could be facilitated and financed by the Arab world and other donor countries that have poured billions into the pockets of corrupt PA officials. Even with out this good will Israel can get the ball rolling.

Tens of millions of would be immigrants are wandering the globe now seeking a better place to live. A pocket bulging with cash will make the former Arabs of Ertez Yisroel prefered candidates as immigrants in many countries.

That is the carrot. The stick is simply zero tolerance of anything that smells or feels like a threat to the Jewish state or Jews . I leave it to the authorities to implement the details. The Arabs will begin to feel that there may be other places where they could feel more wanted . Thus Jews will be safe in their own land for once

Once the Arabs understand that Israelis have decided to make this a real Jewish state they will get the message and either leave or behave..
