The Final Solution

Reader comment on item: Solving the "Palestinian Problem" [with the No-State Solution]

Submitted by Jolly Jack (Japan), Jan 7, 2009 at 03:48

Over the years, both Israel and Egypt have washed their hands over the Strip because of the intransigent behavior of its occupants, and want no further part of it. It's more trouble than it's worth. They don't want it, and the behavior of the Palestinians over years points to one thing -- neither do they!

When a whole population irresponsibly votes to install a terrorist group as their government, then they prove to everyone that they do not understand the process of democratic elections, and they end up getting what they deserve -- total chaos!

The Palestinians have proved time and again that they only want to wreak havoc, so why not open dialogue with Jordan to take in the Palestinians, while the Israelis renounce all claims to the West Bank, or part thereof, permanently in exchange for the Strip, which would become Israeli territory. That would solve the problem of a split Palestinian homeland, and would lessen the burden of Israel having to continuously monitor the sore to the south.

The bottom line is this -- Palestinians do not have the know-how to govern, and the situation will not improve any time soon.

Other Muslim nations in the area have repeatedly declared their support for the people in the Strip, which is as far as they're willing to go, apart from limited financial support. They are simply using the Strip as a proxy to continuously needle the Israelis, a situation that will never end as long as the Palestinians are there. After all; they are Muslims!

Then let the Jordanians police their own kind.

Enough is enough!
