Not such a practical approach

Reader comment on item: Solving the "Palestinian Problem" [with the No-State Solution]

You fail to include another option, the one that would actually bring both calm (not peace, as arabs don't want peace) and justice: Expel the arabs from the West Bank and Gaza, sending them to any of the 20-something arab/moslem countries available to them (including France and the UK).

Your stated "only one practical approach, that which worked tolerably well in the period 1948-67", didn't work so well: 3 wars in the same period is not what I would think of as "tolerably well", don't you think so? Of course, the expulsion scenario brings forth the politically incorrect memories of the politically incorrect Meir Kahane, which is, as my Shami and Halabi (Syrian Jews) friends would say, "Haram, haram!".

Nevertheless, by ruling out expulsion, then the previous expulsion (1948-49) becomes also invalid, and the arab claim of absorbing millions of "refugees" into pre-67 Israel must be completely complied with. Quiet the contrary, the decades-old myopic view that the expulsion is inhuman, illegal, incorrect, etc. must be abandoned and viewed instead it for what it is, a population exchange between the victors and the defeated, a means for erradicating a vicious anti-national population, and the means to keep Israel Jewish (too bad for neo-liberals, multiculturalism in Israel is already accounted for, remember the Jewish kibutz galuyot has brought people from every conceivable corner of the world, including yes, arab countries).
