Big Sufi Falsafa, celestial teas and our dear Angela

Reader comment on item: "Islam" Does Not Mean "Peace"
in response to reader comment: "The Qur'an does not teach that Jesus is God, but only a Prophet."

ROTFL this is even worse then I imagined. I will have to snip quotes from your Sufi sages only good to be written on the containers of "Celstial Teas" very much enjoyed by those into "New Age" nonsense. So are you in new age nonsense our dear Angela?

You wrote this gem
>However, Allah is simply the Arabic word for "God"

You are correct.

However, your "EDUCATED" Muslim friends would tell us that the word Allah is a contraction of the word al-Ilah or THE GOD. So if we are to believe them (and you seem to value their opinion) then the word Allah means: THE GOD and not God! Or are we to believe a person like you who does not know any Arabic? But you know what? In this case you are correct! Do you Get it?And now do you understand why your "educated" Muslim friends that tell you that islam means salam can be just as wrong?

In this case we must believe you because the word Allah in fact is a loan word from Syriac (gasp!) and the word GOD in Syriac is: Alaha or Allaha (Nestorian). The word Alaha/Allaha was also used by Copts as a loan word from Syriac before the Arab invasion of Egypt. There was indeed a significant presence of Syriac speakers in the area of Wadi al-Natrun just south of Alexandria and the famous al-Deir al-Suryani. So the word Allah was not a new word to either Copts or to Syriac speakers or to all of the Christians in the Middle East in the late antique period. So the fact that Christian Arabs use the word Allah for God should be expected.

Now with your big time falsafa you would agree with me this does not mean that the God of the Christian Arabs is the same one as the God of the Arabs! As a matter of fact they also call their God: al-Sayyid Yasoo3 al-Maseeh and al-Rab and al-Ilah and you would agree with me that your Allah ain't al-Sayyid Yasoo3 al-maseeh

Now see what happens when you try to be a wannabe Arab when you have no clue about the history of that part of the world and do not know any Arabic?

>So yes in that sense Jesus would be the 'Allah" or the "God" of the Christians

True but the Allah of the Christians is not the Allah of Muslims!

>"God is the Messiah"

Does it say in the Qur'an: "al-rab/al-ilahAllah inhahu al-maseeh" No, you will not find it in the Qur'an. But you will not find many things in the Qur'an (eg: male and female genital mutilation. The Qur'an is silent about both) as the Qur'an is a confused and confusing book that contain many allusions that do not make any sense. But we are left with the great saying: "al-tafseer lel sahaba wa al-ta'weel lel fuqaha/3ulama/jamii3" (maybe you can ask your "EDUCATED" Muslim friends if they know can tell you what this sentence really means because it will be the foundation of our little chat about the confused Qur'an and jesus in the Qur'an)

So you tell us ya ayuha al-faylasoofa al-kabeera what do you find inspiring in the Qur'an of even in the Sufi bogus falsafa?A book that you cannot even read in Arabic and have to depend on silly and tendentious translations ...

There is so much funny Sufi falsafa in your post that I would like to go through it word by word, but I will leave you with this little story from Muahmmad's sira where we are told that the Jews of mecca posed the Aristotelian problem to Abul Qasim who and his Allah had poor command of falsafa and tafkeer 3aqli

"If Allah created this Creation, then who created Allah?"

Then who really created your Allah our dear Angela?

I will provide you Muahmmad's response to such profound question but do not except much from Abul Qasim!

So much for the bogus tawheed and for the victims of such poor theology called islamic theology

But as you will read in my posts the poor theologians Abul Qasim and your Allah say in the Qur'an that Jesus was a rasul/nabi but he was also God! Go figure.

Stay tuned for more.
