where does it say so?

Reader comment on item: "Islam" Does Not Mean "Peace"
in response to reader comment: Jesus was not a prophet at least this is what the Qur'an really says

Submitted by Lactantius Jr. (United Kingdom), Jun 18, 2007 at 07:23

To dhimmi no more

Honouring Jesus Christ as a prophet, whilst denying He was crucified, the Qur'an creates a massive problem for Islam, the Qur'an being wrong to honour Him as a prophet, because if Jesus is a true prophet, then He was crucified on a cross, died as a result, and rose from the dead shortly thereafter. Accordingly, the Qur'an is wrong in teaching otherwise in Surah 4:157.

True prophets don't give false prophecies, and Jesus Christ didn't, prophesying His upcoming crucifixion on at least 18 occasions, and on 8 of those occasions, also prophesying His resurrection from the dead.

Truly, He is exactly Who He said He was, and Who the New Testament refers to as:-

"Our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ" Titus 2:13

but where does the Qur'an really say that Jesus is God?

with kind regards and best wishes

Lactantius Jr.
