If perfect grammar and understanding of the language is the requirement then you should never say another word on this English language blog. The study of the derivation of a word is called etymology. That is more correct.

Grammar is a broader term. Grammar includes the construction of sentences and syntax, and only secondarily the morphology of words. At this level of dissection it would be more correctly referred to as etymology, which you would know if you had studied linguistics at all. There is more to any language than speaking it. There is, more importantly, understanding language itself.

But in your case, it would help if you would just learn English, Dhimmi. Learn English, if you are going to talk to Americans. Certainly it will be necessary if you want to argue with them ....
