I can't tell from hearing a word whether the letter used is "K" of "Q". There is no "Q" in Hebrew. All of what I know in Arabic I learned in the streets of Jerusalem and Hebron and form the workers under me when I was working for Rabbi Goldstein in Kever David repairing the second level of the Tomb of David to be used for dormitory space for his Diaspora Yeshiva. It sufficed me to trade in the markets in the old city and in Hebron and Beitlechem. I never had any difficulty being understood by the Arabs I met.
