Your "paraphrase" of his argument is fallacious.

Here's what he said:

While most Muslims are not Islamists and most Islamists are not terrorists, all Islamist terrorists are Muslims

(While Most A are not B and Most B are not C, All D are A)


Here's what you said:

while most ripe apples are not green and most green apples are not ripe, all red apples are ripe

(While Most A are not B and Most B are not A, all C are A)

Can you spot the error in your logic?
