The real goal of Islam

It is sad to observe the discussion about Islam, in particular, their reaction to the cartoons depicting Mohammed. What I hear and read makes it clear that they don't get it. It is fundamental to Islam to spread the religion until all countries are swallowed up into it. To them, there is only one nation, the "Nation of Islam"; only one law, theirs. The riots are not a sudden reaction to an offence; they are part of a larger campaign to impose their will as a precursor to their law on the rest of the world. If we capitulate, it will be a huge victory towards their ultimate goal of bringing the world under the tight fisted reign of Islam. It is not anger, it is strategy.
