If there were a murderer in my town, who matched my physical description, I would not mind being profiled by the police - even stopped, detained and questioned. It is reasonable for the police to be on the lookout.

i agree with that. if you are detained and questioned it's fine, but not tortured. Many innocent muslims who are captured or arrested claim that they were tortured and now they are being sent to other countries, where you don't even know what happens with them. And they are released after a whole year without any charges. Imagine yourself in jail getting torture just beacuse you are a Christian and meet CERTAIN CRETERIA OR race and then being released. Then imagine what happens to your career, your wife, your kids? Your status in society and your respect?

Why should every Muslim pay for someone else's sins?
