Moslem: A Believer in Islam

Reader comment on item: The Enemy Within [and the Need for Profiling]

Your article contains the clause "While most Muslims are not Islamists...", but I believe that you are mistaken. (Did you perhaps intend "Arab" instead of Muslim?)

My dictionary states that a Moslem is a believer in or adherent of Islam, and that a Muslim is a Moslem. In other words, the Moslems are a people and Islam is their religion. Similarly, Christians adhere to Christianity and Jews adhere to Judiasm. But we would not say Christians are not Christanity-ists.

At any rate, I enjoyed the rest of your article. My hope is that peace-loving Muslims and Arabs would do more to bring Islamic terrorists to justice. There are not too many degrees of separation between them.
