Clarification: Islam, Islamic, Moslem, Muslim, and terrorists

Reader comment on item: The Enemy Within [and the Need for Profiling]

The religions is Islam. Things relating to Islam are Islamic. The believers of Islam are Moslem sometimes spelled Muslim. The terrorists are Muslim extremists. These extremists form from a situation bourn of poverty, lack of education and a government that does not lend assistance for either problem. When the government doesn't fund secular schools, the citizens don't have basic skills for working and earning a living. This makes them highly susceptible to the suggestions of extremists because in Muslim countries the only education available in rural areas are th religious schools called Madrasahs. These schools, are taken over and funded by rich conservatives who support the Extremist belief. Therefore all the young men are taught are the same views in the form of readings and interperetations from the Koran. They can't read, so the interperetation is up to the teacher, until they are indoctrinated into the belief system.
