Legitimate Defense

Reader comment on item: The Enemy Within [and the Need for Profiling]

Submitted by Glenn Klotz (United States), Jan 24, 2003 at 09:13

We are at war and in war one most focus on whom leaders believe to be a legitimate threat externally and internally. During the Cold War against Communism the government focused on the Left in this country and in many cases with good reason, and in others, not with such good reason. Nevertheless, the war now is against Islamic fascism and its terrorist army distributed all across the globe. To ignore the millions of Muslims internally would be foolish and for the time being these folks are going to have to bear with us until the emergency is over.
