I have read the QuranReader comment on item: The Enemy Within [and the Need for Profiling] Submitted by Ed (United States), Mar 14, 2007 at 10:32 Admittedly there are some good teachings in the Quran as to cleanliness, sleeping on your right side for the best rest, etc. Parts of the Quran talks of love and peace and fairness. However, chapter 9 has the true muslim theory. It states to be fair in your business agreements with the Infidels and live up to your word. But when your deal is complete, if the infidel has not converted to Islam, slash his throat. As to Idonesia, I am sure the early muslim sailing fleets pushed the muslim religion on a backward and uneducated group of people. The only people who come to Islam without threat or force are the ignorant and uneducated. Education can cure ignorance and create rejection of Islam. There is no known cure for stupidity and these are the educated ones who stick with Islam.
