should we not read from the source

I strongly recommend reading about islam from the source I. E. The holy Quran and the sayings of the propet peace be upon him. Qouting from books or making inferneces from watching influnced news clips will only lead to confusion and mixing up between what islam is and what some people who claim to be muslims do.
