There is nothing evil about Islam. The problem is that most Muslims lack a thorough knowledge of Islamic history and culture. Thus; cannot separate Islamic Doctrine from Arab cultural milieu.

Arabia was not the first land to be graced with this. Prophets known and unknown; and of various cultures were given the task of enlightening and reminding the people of our duty to emphasis spirituality in our daily lives and to cohabitate peacefully.

Yet teachers of Islam insist on an intellectual approach to educating the ulima when Islam must be experienced in the moment. The Koran teaches this. But most are blinded by inept scholars who have accepted the dictates of men and not the Creator.

For example: Done properly; the Salat is a powerful exercise in faith, patience, and peserverance. The positions (done properly) can invigorate and tone the body, mind and spirit. This is a Gift to those who posses understanding. A Chinese need not become an Arab to have the Creator lift the veil from his/her heart so as to see the reality of what has been happening to our beloved gift. The way to live in harmony with all. Understanding when to struggle and why.

Why are we muslims in such disharmony? Islam does not need an upgrade. It is the practitioners of this Science/Art ; way of life that need to be enlightened. Islam is for the people. Taught by Allah's leave. Not by clerics and royal families and oil tycoons and thugs and politicians and militia's ...
