in response to reader comment: Turkey is an exception

firstly, to all you people out there who think the great Mustafa Kemal Ataturk was a Christian or Jew...you are dead wrong, and to those who think he was a muslim, you're getting close, but you're still wrong..yes Ataturk was born a muslim, but Ataturk cared nothing for religion, he believed all religion was nothing more than fairy tales...read this carefully and learn...ATATURK WAS AN ATHIEST. dont believe me? look deeply and study his life, his beliefs, the fact he wanted to change the call to prayer into turkish, the fact he literally threw the koran at the caliph, and not to mention how he secularized Turkey. Ataturk was a man way before his time, he believed in humanity, he believed in science, he's even been quoted saying "Science will be the new religion of Turkey". Ataturk's vision for humanity was a great one, it's a shame we let the fairy tales of religion get in the way of good old commense sense and reason....I can't wait for the day when Christianity, Islam and Judaism are regarded as nothing more than myths, and Humanity no longer has the shakles of religion to hold it back.....it may take a few hundred years, but that day is coming, people cant stay drugged forever.
