My Dear Mr. Pipes,

Your naysayers are right and you are wrong. Your approach does NOT offer a "realistic policy to deal with" Islam. Worldwide Islam is like a plague of fire ants, but with evil intent: they will kill you for no other reason than that you are there, unless you get them first.

The unfortunate thing about your lack of good sense, which I believe is governed by your desire to be politically correct, is that it is, ultimately, suicidal.

Islam is an evil, pernicious plague with a deathwish for everyone not like them. I am afraid that what defines true Islam is al Queda, not Turkey. And as you must well know, every sect, cult, and religion has its militant lunatic faction that never seems to go away. The only sane course is total suppression, lest we perish.
