What is left?Reader comment on item: Islam's Future Submitted by Andrew (Canada), Jan 9, 2004 at 12:10 Muslims around the world are seeming to crystalize into this large group of pro/anti violence type people.. ..I am sick and tired of the "religion of peace" (patent pending) cries that gets spouted off. Yes, I know that not all muslims are terrorists, but it seems to me that the vast majority of cowards (terrorists) turn out to have some sort of muslim connection. The need for reform of islam is totally against the religion itself, it is based on total subservience and blind acceptance of the book. I am not a religious person, nor do I claim to know how to solve the problems, but I do know that either you are part of the solution or part of the problem. Self policing is not working (Arafat), pleas for dialogue do not work, appeals to so called "allies" do not work, what is left?
