Reader comment on item: Islam's Future

I am Iranian and Muslim. I have studied the history of Islam through books and many resources. I don't know why nobody wants to look at the documented bloody history of Islam. The prophet himself was ordering massacre and genocide. How can we expect the followers to be tolerant? They destroyed most of the eastern civilization and now are looking to the West. I have a very important book from Ali Dashti a former Islamic clergy who has revealed lots of dark corners of Islamic history from origin by his excellent research.

His focus is on last 23 years life of the prophet all documented with mainly valid Islamic resources. This book is written in Persian. I am looking for somebody to translate it to English and add some pictures like comic books to that. This person needs to know persian and to be good in arabic language. It could be a group of people. If you read it you will find the real Islam. Why we shouldn't distribute this articles especially between the young people and politicians to show them the reality and why nobody is interested to know the history of Islam.

If somebody can help and introduce a place or a person to help on it could be highly appreciated. I will just send him the book by email and ready to help on it. Human right is not just for prisoners. Everybody has the right to know the reality.
Could somebody tell me it is not the time to differentiate between ideologies and religions? And then try to stop these ideologies which are much worse than communism??
Very Best Regards
Farman

`Ali Dashti, Bist o Seh Sal (Beirut, 1974) has appeared in English: Trans. F.R.C. Bagley, Twenty Three Years: A Study of the Prophetic Career of Mohammad (London: George Allen & Unwin, 1985).
