Outsiders Must Stop MIlitant Islam

I can see militant/terrorist Islam possessing the intent of returning the entire civilized world back to the Dark Ages.

History teaches us, generally, that a vocal minority-- whether it be for political or other purposes, enslavement, etc.-- can control the moderate and silent majority, through force and fear, (terrorist tactics, militaristic tactics, the Brown Shirts, the Bund) can cause a snowball-rolling-down the hill effect in a nation, rubbing off on other nations, (Germany to Italy, etc. etc. and rolling over countries with attitudes that say "we're not fighters, we're lovers")...

The only way this movement is halted is when outside influences, powers equal to or greater than the tyrants, join together to stop them as we experienced during World War II, Korea, the Cold War, etc. Turkey knows "which side is up".

We, the U.S. and its true Allies (what's left of the "good old British Empire") are left to do the job of stopping the snowball. Otherwise, fuhgettaboutit!
