I'm so glad I'm not a muslim, are you?Reader comment on item: Islam's Future Submitted by Proud Infidel (United States), Aug 13, 2002 at 23:10 I was born and raised in Indonesia, the world's largest muslim country, by my Chinese parents. Like most Indonesian Chinese, we were Christian. I still remember when I was a little kid, my friends and I were always warned by our parents not to play near the mosque in our neigborhood because it was a dangerous place. The people who gathered there seemed like angry and violent people whenever we came near them. Now that I think about it, it is so sad that a place of worship like that that's supposed to be a place for people to find peace is actually a place of hate. ...Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
