Yes, this positive reaction on our part to negative actions on the part of the Muslim world is somewhat baffling, not to mention self-destructive. I consider it a very lame attempt at appeasement, a somewhat discredited form of diplomacy that didn't work very well against the Nazis and won't work any better against our Muslim invader/attackers either. If you are an American you can at least take some small solace in the knowledge that this obsequious pandering to the demands of Islam is far worse in Europe than it is in the U.S. In places like Sweden whole cities are being taken over by militant Muslims and there are violent Arab neighborhoods where the police don't even enter for fear of losing their lives. Hard to believe, but it is unfortunately true that our Viking friends up north are becoming willing slaves of their Islamic invaders and have passed laws prohibiting any public criticism of Islam. Did I mention that this is "self-destructive"?
