Affirmative action in beauty contestsReader comment on item: Affirmative Action in Beauty Contests? Submitted by Vinod Sethi (India), May 25, 2010 at 11:05 Anisah Rasheed seems to be the only exception. Beauty queens are supposed to be beautiful girls. All other muslim girls who have won the beauty contests seem deserving unless some other consideration has played any role. Muslim girls, like any other girl, also participate and some of them prove to be eventual winner. We should not ascribe motives behind their success.
