Beauty Pageant should be renamed

Reader comment on item: Affirmative Action in Beauty Contests?

Submitted by Davy (United States), May 19, 2010 at 09:35

To digress about beauty contests . The fact is, there are millions of uncontested women whose beauty ,intelligence and shape far exceed any winners ,contestants . This is about the only contest I tend to believe does not capture so many potential beauties, therefore does not portray the true reflection of the human race. A re-naming of this so called beauty pageant should be considered. What about along the lines of contest for the emancipated women ? At least this would be indicative of not the real representation of vast majority of women.
