Reader comment on item: How to Save the Obama Presidency: Bomb Iran

Even though many may disagree, we are at war. It may be a silent one... We may well have been dragged into it... But it surely is happening.

Islan is fighting a silent and dishonourable war... It is not proclaimed, classical and ruled by law... It simply is. And we (the westerners) must decide if we desire to come out of it as a still living and breathing civilization. Cause its not a matter of whos going to win it. Its not! Because the set of rules determined by the only side which is actively participating (islan) is such that only one side must prevail.

And so i ask: Do we desire to continue our existance?

Islam knows what this war is about. They know it and they're acting on it. They hide behind our own qualities. They hide behind our goodness (which in certain situations can be misunderstood as weakness) and they count on it. So they know they're free to kill our children, and women and elders. Cause our societies doesnt respond the way it should.

As long as we dont come to our senses and accept that this is war and consciously fight it with determination and courage (qualities such as we demonstrated fighting WWII) we wont have a chance... And be damn sure they wont show any mercy upon us.
