Damage done by Bush

Reader comment on item: How to Save the Obama Presidency: Bomb Iran

Submitted by G.Vishvas (India), Feb 3, 2010 at 18:48

It was Bush who did the mistake of destroying Saddam for reasons of his (Bush's) personal animosity. Damage done by Bush is so deep that Obama cannot work out of it. Be it the supreme court of USA, the foreign poilcies, asocial and anti-social trends, the banks, the energy and environment problems etc. the republican party headed by Bush and Cheney hve damaged world and USA for a long time to come, may be permanently. May be it was foolish for anyone to want to become a president after a man like Bush who had 8 years to destroy USA, much supported by similar intellectuals.

If catastrophe must come then let it come early - that seems to be the mood.
