Need for balance of power corrections in the world

Reader comment on item: How to Save the Obama Presidency: Bomb Iran

Russia and China too could be the target of Iranian bomb; so why they do not rate the risk as much as Israel and USA? The risk factor in the case of US and Israel is the measure of action/reaction equations. Apparently both Russia and China are not in that game. On the other hand, a case can be made out that both Russia and China, would like to dilute the hegemonical advances the Axis of US/UK/Israel is striving hard to achieve. The other side is thus broadening the line-up, having lost the first game in the series. Nobody is in doubt that US would not have attacked Iraq and Afghanistan in such open warfare, if the cold war scenario still prevailed and Soviet Russia could have ensured a peaceful balance of power in the divided world.
