Reader comment on item: How to Save the Obama Presidency: Bomb Iran
in response to reader comment: What if?

David writes:

"What if the rulers of Iran just happen to be right? What if they have absolutely no intention of ever building a nuclear bomb?"
but what if you were wrong?

"...What if they, like so many others in the world, have attained a state of higher consciousness way above that displayed by any western politicians or press members?"
I'm going out on a limb here - and just guessing that the higher state of consciousness wouldn't be allowing them to make public statements and then getting applause in parliament that Israel was to be wiped of the map.

"...What if the Russians are right? They have been assisting and working with the Iranians on their nuclear power project, and they state that there is no sign of bomb-making."

And what if the Russians were wrong - and had no clue, like everyone else, about the secret underground developments at Qom. etc

"...What if there are some people in this world who are able to live in a state of love, instead of the constant fear displayed by our politicians and press?"

And what if there were many, many fanatics whose sole intent was to destroy the circumstances which allowed you the freedom to experience the world in any way you desired, replacing it with a primitve pre-medieval religio/poltical totalitarian ideology?

"...What if the pending court cases regarding war crimes find that it is illegal for one man to order another to kill a human being. This is what civilised society means as a minimum - no killing.""

Then the mullahs in many locations around the globe would be in deep do-do.
