Reader comment on item: How to Save the Obama Presidency: Bomb Iran

Submitted by BA (United States), Feb 2, 2010 at 23:11

I don't know whether President Obama can do much regardless if his left wings' folks. I think he is smart enough to know that he must free himself from the far left agenda. I also believe that he wants to be elected for another term. He realizes that to govern the country, he must move to the center and be a moderate person regardless of his past.

At this moment, the bad guys in the middle-east are watching him closely and hoping that he continues to be a president for a second term. This is not out of love for him but they do sense a weakness. A weak leader is what they're praying for.

Reading the Middle Eastern newspapers and internet website and listening to their media, I do believe that Imams and Mullahs write to our President their imaginary grievances days and nights and they believe that he is going to help them.

I do wish Obama the best in dealing with the evils folks in the Islamic world and I am sure he will recognize that Moslems don't really want peace. You have to live in Islamic country, speak the Quran and Arabic language and act like a good Moslem to understand what Islam really all about. Unfortunately, peace is not in its dictionary.

At this moment, Iran is going forward with its nuclear program because this is the only chance the Mullahs might have without serious consequences. Iran will not give up its ambition to acquire the bomb peacefully and we have to know this fact, and the sooner we know the better.
