Reader comment on item: How to Save the Obama Presidency: Bomb Iran
in response to reader comment: War on Islam? Israel, an open sore?

Submitted by yuval Brandstetter MD (Israel), Feb 21, 2010 at 14:57

1. The source you asked for Google Obama, the atlantic monthly, Goldberg may 12 2008 cut and paste : JG: Do you think that Israel is a drag on America's reputation overseas? BO: No, no, no. But what I think is that this constant wound, that this constant sore, does infect all of our foreign policy. The lack of a resolution to this problem provides an excuse for anti-American militant jihadists to engage in inexcusable actions,

Second: True, the President will not declare war on islam, despite the fact that islam has declared and prosecuted war on the United States of America. No state bombed the USS Cole. No state sent four aircraft loaded with thousands of gallons of flammable material on New York and Washington. No state sent the underpants bomber to explode over Detroit. No state sent a US major to kill thirteen soldiers in Fort Hood. its all Islam. Islam, and not some Islamic State is the ferment for the world's most atrocious crimes from suicide bombs in Jerusalem to mass murder in Mumbai. So, by failing to declare war on Islam, the President is either appeasing the mortal enemy, or worse, collaborating with it.
