Destroying Iranian nuclear facility

Reader comment on item: How to Save the Obama Presidency: Bomb Iran

Submitted by Janusz Kowalik (United States), Feb 2, 2010 at 12:51

There are several major difficulties in destroying The Iranian nuclear facilities .

It is unclear if it is possoble to destroy them by a nuclear strike.

The second is the fact that US has already two wars,Afganistan and Iraq.

Destroying the Iranian nuclear site could cause enormous human casaualties

and outrage in the Muslim community. On the other hand if Iran gets atomic weapons

the Middle East will become even more dangerous place than it is now.

The US sooner or later will have to make some move.Europe will no nothing.

Perhaps to hit Iran would require support of Russia and China .UnIlateral strike

will be politically riskier than invading Iraq .
