you dont believe in God, ok but just have a think about this
you live on a planet which floats around in a massive space, which it lit and warmed by a giant star which allows life to grow. we have enough food and water to feed everyone (yes many in the world are starving but many are obese).
there is the correct amount of gasses in the athmosphere to enable u to breathe
the moon controls tides which enable the currents to flow which in turn regulate the water temp so that half the world doesnt freeze
your heart has been beating since your conception and will continue to do so even when you brain dies.
your skin protects your body from infections and holds all your body parts in place.
your blood travels throughout your body cleaning in and protecting it.
your kidneys and liver take out all the harmful toxins from it.
your stomach breaks down all the food you eat and sends the correct nutrients to the correct places.
your fingerprints are unique
now i can go on for a few thousand more examples but i wont bore u
u seem to have made an educated guess on religion and have disbelieved in it all, which shows that your are not devoid of intelligence but do not choose to follow the masses, which is commendable, i am not one for sheeplike behaviour. but evolution is based on random chance theory - darwin himself was not convinced of it, he was just following his grandfathers or fathers study (forgive me if i am wrong)
now if you have ever gambled u will know that the casino always wins, there is no such thing as luck and chance will never make u a millionaire. our world is perfect, everything in it has a purpose, EVERYTHING, yet many believe that they are here for no reason. the worm in the ground is there for a reason so how do u think that there is no point to u?
if u leave a plant in a pot for a month or two beside ur kitchen sink and dont water it, it will die - it wont figure out how to turn the taps on - even if u left it there for 50 yrs - even if you left a couple of hundered plants there none will get their roots to turn on the taps, yet salmon will return to their parents rivers which they have never known and turtles will make their way to the sea after hatching even though they have never seen it before.
this is more than chance
you have misunderstood the concept of free will and predestination
predestination is finding 100 dollars on the road and free will is choosing to spend it on a hooker or give it in charity
free will is choosing to be an atheist and living this life as u please or choosing to follow the religion of God. you have been presented with all the information and it is up to you to decide which you want to follow. this is free will.
if you have or know someone with kids, you will know how dicipline works. for example you tell them that if they tidy their room and finish their chores they can go outside to the park and if they dont they dont get. and if you catch them doing something which you dont like your gonna punish them right? and depending on ur morals u might forbid them from taking drugs or the like. so by your thinking they are bullies because God tells us to do good things so that He can reward us. if we do something bad He may punish us, but maybe forgive us, like a parent would do for their kids. and if God has forbidden something, dont u think it might be for our own good?
i would like to know why u dont believe in God, is it because of the organised religions? fighting/sickness/poverty in the world, do u feel hard done by. for anyone who beleives in God the signs of His existance are glaringly obvious and real atheism is a relatively small group.
like i said i dont think sheeplike behaviour is the way to go we all have brains that function well and should use them the way they were intended - anyway i'm going to see did my dinner make itself......
