Very sad that the truth will be ignored and pushed under the rug!

Reader comment on item: Sudden Jihad or "Inordinate Stress" at Ft. Hood?

Submitted by Peter (United States), Nov 9, 2009 at 09:10

I am just so amazed at a time when it seems that there are no secrets because of the web and multiple news outlets that the media and the military believe they can find some other excuse for someones behavior than the obvious truth. I guess I do not understand the motivation behind it. Are they really not seeing the problem or are they just unwilling to admit to it publicly. I think it could be the latter because they fear that people will start to rise up against Muslims in general and not just focus on the extremist.
