I guess he's not "almost" belligerent about proselytizing anymore!

It's mind-boggling the extent to which the press want to inflame the public and sell papers and yet, at the same time, want to bury other things which could be used equally well to inflame the public and sell papers. This makes me think some kind of bias is in the air. I've resisted the call of bias before because laziness, cowardice, envy, pride, vanity and the like explain almost everything without it. Perhaps it's vanity that causes the press to cover it this way. After all, it was vanity that led them to support, shamelessly, one candidate over another... and one whose examination was simply left off the table... a real betrayal of the voter... perhaps it's this same vanity at work: "see how enlightened we all are?" seems to be the message the media want to portray most. The story is about them.
