Hello Yuval.

I agree with your assesment regarding Jewish soldiers in the US army supposedlly being ordered to shoot Jewish IDF soldiers in Israel.This , though, did remind me the awful history of Jews fighting in two enemy armies in Europe throughout the years.Many times conscripted and forced as boys into these armies .A friend of the family told us that his father was a Jew in the Polish army who was sent to Eretz Israel. While there he defected and ended up marrying a nice Jewish girl.

Fine stories like this one did not happen all that often though.
