An Idea

I agree that sentimentality , not raison d'etat ,seem to donimate Israeli policies these days. Much of it is due to the constant anti-Israeli barrage organized by the Arabs through the European left , whereby every action by Israel is regurgitated 1000ds of times , in every blog or newspaper,with its negatives proclaimed boldly in red ink. This takes its toll and Israelis have not been successful in blunting that offensive. Can any of you suggest the remedy?

To our realists: Israel will have to start incapacitating its prisoners to succeed in this game. A prisoner whose two hands are cut off , by the application of some interpretation of shariah for his/her crime, will quickly return the power balance in Israel's favour. Would you support some such policy?
