But it will not be appreciated, by these one-eyed people - it will be seen as weakness. How about the old biblical saying, "An eye for an eye.........". It is almost certain that the two Israelis died in terrible circumstances. They should have murdered Kutar before sending him back .... the only sensible thing is live body for live body and dead body for dead body. Otherwise there is simply no motivation for them to keep their captives alive, so by this 'deal' the Israelis may have sealed the fate of any other captives taken by Hezbollah etc. But my heart is with them, nevertheless Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
