i have a question

obama met with King Abdullah of Jordan...and well, the reports i heard said that the King said that the only way to obtain peace in the middle east is to settle the Israeli Arab conflict in the occupied territories of the West Bank and Gaza

my question is...what assumption of the status of Jerusalem is entailed in the statement?

and...if hamas has control of gaza and Israel has (as so mentioned by several articles) pulled out of gaza...then shouldn't the rocket attacks or any attacks that never should be used cease and hamas should become...for lack of a better word...men and start to show they can run a 'state' and accept that Israel has every right to the muslim-occupied Jerusalem

and..isn't Islam about the struggle for one's faith in a world gone wrong not about killing people, power, and wealth?
