I was amazed two days back when I watched news of the Lebanese president telling the Lebanese people it's time to take back the Shabaa Farms from Israel either by diplomacy or by force. I'll still maintain here that there's nothing good we can achieve by force. In case we're too blind to keep thinking the last war of 2006 was a victory against Israel, If we accept that all humans are Equal, we should know by now who paid a greater price in this war.

It might have been difficult to root Hezbullah's fighters out amongst the Lebanese population as Israel was not fighting against the Lebanese Gov't.. If today a war of any sort is provoked, especially by the Lebanese Unity Gov't against Israel, the consequences will never be the same. Imagine missiles with heavier war heads being launched indiscriminately into Israeli cities by the joined Lebanese Hezbullah and Gov't forces and Israel retaliating, bearing in mine it's a war between two sovereign nations, and also the fact that civilian rights have been violated first by the state of Lebanon. The consequencies in human loss will be more terrible. We can't afford to let that happen.

More so, if Hezbullah is today three times more armed than before the war, as it claims, the UN should be held responsible for not playing her part in preventing Hezbullah from rearming. The UN should also be answerable for any devastation that might be caused in case of any such wars b/n these two nations, as this can only come as a result of a stronger Hezbullah.

Every individual should think globally and well ahead before sanctioning decisions concerning war.
