Peace is reciprocal

If Israel refuses to seek genuine peace with her Arab neighbours, then Israelis will seldom know peace no matter how hard they work. On the other hand, if Arab neighbours ignore or refuse to live side by side, in peace with Israel, as Iran and other resistant groups claim, they will never know peace either. It is said that 'the baby who says his mother will not sleep, will equally spend a sleepless night'.

Choosing the option of peace, will no doubt , be of great mutual benefits to all parties involved. For example, Israel being a giant in technology is surrounded by an ever hungry market, backed by the ability to pay for what ever they need, be them services or manufactured goods. Arab Countries on the other hand, will buy goods and services more cheaply from their neighbour next door as they will be spared heavy cost of transport from for distance places.

Keeping aside the economic factor. Being able to interact socially and culturally in peace and security with your neighbours, is a priceless achievement, as it is the very essence of living. Our neighbours constitute part of our environment, which is an integral part of our life, thus we must learn to live together in harmony for the seek of life, for the seek of happiness.

Can we, as civilized people, now say NO to war and terror and YES to diplomacy and peace, as a precious GIFT to the future generation.
