I agree but....Reader comment on item: Samir Kuntar and the Last Laugh Submitted by thefish (United States), Aug 8, 2008 at 16:43 Daniel, I really enjoy your analysis and reference your work regularly in my Homeland Security classes. That being said you stated "The highs took place during the state's first three decades, the lows occurred since 2000." I would contend that the lows began shortly after the signing of Oslo. Whether the ledership of Israel is Likud or Labor or another all of them have been short-sighted and corrupt. I had great hopes for Bejamin Netanyahu but he disappointed as well. I think that to truely find a workable solution in Israel we will need another Begin, Mier, or even Rabin.
