Schweitzer can byte me

Reader comment on item: May an American Comment on Israel?

Submitted by jennifer solis (United States), Aug 18, 2008 at 17:46

In the Aug. 3 update posted, "A Final Reply to Yoram Schweitzer", Schweitzer gives undeniable revelation of his myopic view by classifying Dr. Pipes' opinions on Israel as "sound bites".

"The right to voice one's thoughts...is a linchpin of academic, indeed democratic discourse...he [Pipes] reduces a complex issue to a sound byte, completely ignores the context of the matter at hand and harshly attacks Israeli officials for their handling of this latest crisis."

Thanks for the crumbs off your table, Schweitzer.

More oraculum from Schweitzer : "To fail to do the utmost to rescue any citizen or soldier who falls into enemy hands would shatter one of the basic preceps of Israeli society."

So that's why you traded a living, breathing icon of Islamic terror for two dead soldiers.

And Schweitzer is the COUNTER-TERRORISM expert at Tel Aviv?

I don't think the lobotomy will help, Doctor. The epistimilogical myopia is irreversable.
