re your article: May an American comment on IsraelReader comment on item: May an American Comment on Israel? Submitted by edith m cord (United States), Jul 28, 2008 at 12:47 Dear Mr. Pipes, I couldn't agree with you more, both on the issue of commenting on Israeli policies, and on the folly of exchanging known terrorists with blood on their hands for 2 corpses. In fact, I thought this exchange was worse than folly and humiliation because it puts future Israeli captives at risk. Hizbollah paid no price for murdering two Israeli soldiers after they were ambushed during a period of "peace." Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
